Because
communication touches every aspect of life, it is
part and parcel of every department of the church.
Departmental personnel assist administrators and
other church leaders in communicating
organizational policies, news, and church
information to members, and the public at large.
The department also is the primary church entity
that develops a positive image with the public to
create an openness to the gospel. This is
accomplished through a network of communication
personnel. |

says, I believe that the purpose of a
church website is:
1. EVANGELIZE - Above all other purposes, it
should be fulfilling the Great Commission, as should
all church ministries, groups, and programs.
2. It should be an extension to the church. Everything
our church does and stands for should be mirrored as
best as possible on our website.
3. Support the church - This is where online sermons,
email groups, and newsletters come in. Almost
everything our church prints should also be on our
website.
